I work with older adolescents, young adults, parents, and adults experiencing anxiety, stress and life transitions. My approach is warm, nonjudgemental, and direct. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and share my honest perspective. Therapy should be a place where you feel understood, but also challenged to see things differently and make meaningful changes. Many of my clients work with me for years as they navigate different stages of life. I values these long-term relationships and the opportunity to help people grow, work through challenges, and develop greater confidence in themselves. I bring over 30 years of clinical experience to my work, including serving as Director of Behavioral Medicine at North Shore Children's Hospital in Salem, MA. My approach draws on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), EMDR and other evidence-based stategies tailored to your individual needs. Finding the right therapist matters. I encourage you to reach out so we can talk about what brings you to therapy and whether we'd be a good fit.
