Reuben is a husband, dad, and therapist. He considers it a joy to walk alongside his clients to help them meet their goals with timely and verifiable outcomes. He works with clients who grapple with anxiety, depression, anger management, relationship struggles, marriage issues, sex addiction, trauma, psychosis, and grief. Reuben views his clients as experts in their own lives and respects their autonomy. Though he treats people of all faiths or none, he integrates the Christian faith into counseling for those who request that perspective. He is an EMDR-trained therapist. Reuben is an adjunct professor of counseling at Evangel University at the graduate level. He teaches Couple and Family Counseling, Counseling Assessments, Theories of Counseling, Child and Elder Abuse, Telemental Health, and Intimate Partner Violence. The Missouri Committee has approved him as a licensure supervisor for counselors-in-training and provisionally licensed professional counselors in Missouri. He is a Certified SYMBIS Facilitator and a Certified Prepare / Enrich Facilitator. Reuben’s office is a shame-free zone where clients are free to heal, be whole, and face the future with dignity.
