Introduction

Welcome- My name is Rhoda Keefer and I am Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Matthews, NC. I have been working with children, teens and adults since 2015 and would love to have the opportunity to come alongside you to help provide you with a listening ear, a safe space to process your thoughts, feelings and experiences and an opportunity to perhaps look at your situation from a new perspective. As a former teacher, I have many years of experience working with children and love to helping parents understand their child better and assist them in developing stronger connections with their children. Out of this, grew a desire to provide support for women as they navigate peripartum mood and anxiety disorders. I integrate a variety of treatment approaches which include, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Exposure and Response Prevention, Play Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Treatments plans are crafted to meet the unique needs of each individual client. I am able to provide a supportive, judgement-free and hope-giving care to clients from all walks of life.
