Introduction

My name is Rick, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 35 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. My journey into this field began with my own recovery and healing from trauma, which inspired me to dedicate my life to supporting others on their path to growth and resilience. I work with individuals facing trauma, substance use, depression, PTSD, self-harm, adoption-related issues, and other barriers that prevent them from living fully. I have a particular passion for helping those who may find it hard to express themselves or feel truly understood, creating a space where they can connect, heal, and move forward. In our sessions, you can expect respect, compassion, and collaboration. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Family Therapy, tailoring treatment to what works best for you. My goal is not only to help you overcome challenges but also to empower you to reach your full potential. Outside of my practice, I enjoy exercising, spending time outdoors, traveling when I can, and relaxing with a good cup of coffee. Taking the step to seek help is a sign of courage, not weakness. If you’re ready to explore new ways of coping, healing, and building a more fulfilling life, I would be honored to walk alongside you in that journey.
