Introduction

Hello, and welcome. I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with 17 years of nursing experience and nearly two decades in healthcare, working across rehabilitation, med-surg, cardiac, orthopedic, and psychiatric settings. I hold a BSN from Galen College of Nursing, a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Appalachian State University, and an MSN from Herzing University. I’m dedicated to helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds—including members of the LGBTQIA+ community—overcome mental health challenges and achieve balance and fulfillment. My approach is holistic and collaborative, addressing mental, physical, and emotional well-being. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each person’s unique story, offering psychotherapy and, when appropriate, medication management to treat conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, substance use, and thought disorders. Healing takes time, and I believe in walking alongside my clients every step of the way. My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and equipped to manage symptoms and improve your quality of life. I offer flexible telehealth appointments and look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward wellness. Outside of my practice, I enjoy traveling, hiking, skiing, and exploring national parks—experiences that help me stay grounded and reinforce my belief in the importance of balance and self-care.
