"My social work and athletics path has provided me with the opportunity to connect with people from all Cultures and ages. I have worked with children, adults and families for over 30 years, providing a safe, relaxed environment where people can openly be who they are and discover their authentic selves. I believe people can do amazing work when they feel safe, connected and supported. I enjoy people gaining insight into their life situations and ultimately creating positive changes. I am skilled in working with children, adolescents and adults, in a variety of areas, including: relationships and family conflicts, self-esteem, social skills, school challenges, coping skills, multicultural issues, oppositional, anger management, grief, parenting challenges, defiance, anxiety, depression, parent guidance, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit disorder, and divorce issues. Change is the only constant in life: we live in a complex, busy, and changing world that presents a variety of challenges, as well as opportunities, in our everyday lives. Our biological and psychological make up, as well as our cultural, social, and family backgrounds and supportive system has lot to do with the way we deal with these challenges. I have been committed to continuing education from the time my career began. Attending conferences, seminars, courses, and workshops to stay aware of the changes and new intervention approaches.
