After more than two decades in software development, I became a therapist because I experienced firsthand the transformative power of therapy. I want to make therapy accessible to everyone, especially those who are taught to dismiss it as either ineffective or unnecessary. In my tech career, I gravitated toward mediation and conflict resolution, often finding that active listening and goal setting were just as critical as technical skills. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helped me thrive as an engineer, and now I use those same evidence-based tools to help others navigate life’s complexities in any profession or life path. During over two decades of marriage, raising a family, and living non-traditional relationship structures with a sex-positive viewpoint, I learned how communication and emotional resilience foster healthy relationships. I bring this lived experience into the therapy room, especially when working with adults facing workplace stress, ADHD, or the lingering effects of childhood trauma. I understand how these challenges can feel isolating—and how healing begins with feeling truly seen, not blamed, shamed or pathologized. My graduate training emphasized cultural humility and social justice, and I was fortunate to learn alongside a diverse cohort whose perspectives continue to inform my life and my practice. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities, mainstream or fringe. I strive to create a space that affirms authenticity in how we live, love, and connect. Whether you're a professional burned out by hustle culture, a person questioning long-held beliefs, or someone simply seeking grounded support for life’s challenges—I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and compassion.
