Introduction

Hi, I’m Rimple Guron, founder of Peaceful Mind Therapy PLLC. I am a dual-licensed therapist (LMHC in Washington and LCPC in Illinois) and an EMDR-certified clinician through EMDRIA. I provide virtual EMDR and trauma therapy for adults in Illinois (including Chicago and surrounding suburbs) and Washington state. I specialize in helping clients heal from trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and sexual assault recovery. My approach is trauma-informed and integrates EMDR therapy, CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based techniques, and other evidence-based methods customized to each client’s needs. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process distressing or traumatic memories so they feel less overwhelming and less emotionally triggering. Many clients experience feeling calmer, more grounded, and more present after treatment. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology Counseling Practice from Roosevelt University in Illinois and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Louis University. Since 2019, I have supported clients through trauma recovery, with a focus on sexual assault healing and emotional resilience. I also provide virtual clinical supervision for pre-licensed clinicians (LMHCAs), focusing on ethical practice, clinical skills, and evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. I offer virtual therapy across Illinois (including Chicago, Naperville, Schaumburg, Evanston, Oak Park, Arlington Heights, Skokie, Elmhurst, Downers Grove, and nearby suburbs) and Washington state (including Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Tacoma, and surrounding areas). Weekend and evening sessions are available. When you’re ready, I’m here to support you in taking the first step toward healing. You deserve to feel more grounded, safe, and at peace in your life.
