I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee with Axis Mundi Center for Mental Health and am supervised weekly by Elysha Martinez LMFT #93493. My supervisor works with me to help develop my clinical skills and ensure that I provide quality care to you as the client. My passion is partnering with individuals and families experiencing tension or disconnection in their relationships, worry about existing and parenting in today's world, and how to navigate generational legacies. I work alongside you to foster resilience and deep, lasting connection. In addition to child and family work, I welcome individual clients seeking a fuller understanding of themselves or navigating life transitions. I take a relational approach to therapy, meaning that I believe that deep healing happens in connection: between therapist and client, with ourselves, our families and communities, and the natural world. We will engage in work (and play!) that enriches these connections. I believe in the healing power of nature and like to work outdoors when possible. I also work via telehealth with people residing across California. Therapy is a personal journey that can transform how we relate to ourselves and the world around us. I hold our time together as a space to write your own story and re-write your understanding of yourself and your place in the world. I'm honored to be a witness on this journey. "When despair for the world grows in me and I wake in the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be, I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds. I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief. I come into the presence of still water. And I feel above me the day-blind stars waiting with their light. For a time I rest in the grace of the world, and am free." -Wendell Berry
