It’s not easy taking the first step to reach out for help. With our lives being inundated by information, competition over how to live our best lives, and social media feeding us ideas at a pace unknown to human history, it can be difficult to find someone whom we can talk to about the other emotions that occur as a natural part of being human. There are a number of modalities and skills that can help with processing these thoughts, but the most important resource I can offer to you is the space to share these thoughts. Because the simple act of talking about the fear, anger, and sadness that come up in our lives can take away the power and control it creates in our lives. I have worked with clients who have struggled with major life changes, grief and loss, fear of the unknown, invalidation, self-judgement, substance use, and the anxiety that comes from the search for connection and purpose in life. I want to give you the opportunity to connect like I was given so many years ago to find a new path through life. So, my final question is this: are you ready to take the first step towards a new path through life?
