I am a clinical professional counselor licensed in Maine. I provide online therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, loneliness, and difficulty accepting themselves. My approach is informed by Buddhist philosophy and over 26 years of meditation practice, alongside my training in psychotherapy. At the heart of my work is the understanding that we can accept ourselves unconditionally while recognizing that some patterns in our lives need to change. Together, we explore what contributes to your suffering and how you relate to it. Through mindfulness, compassion, and nonviolence toward yourself, we work toward loosening patterns of fear, self-criticism, and resistance. Change does not have to begin with rejecting who you are. You do not need to be Buddhist to benefit from this approach. I personally respond to all inquiries and offer a free 15-minute consultation to see whether we are a good fit.
