Roberta did her practicum internship at the Children’s Shelter Hope Center clinic where, working with adults, families and youth, she was trained in Trauma-informed care. Adults, children, adolescents and families can benefit from therapy with Roberta, as she utilizes integrative, holistic therapeutic techniques. Roberta has completed postgraduate work in art therapy and often implements art and play therapy as clients work through difficulties and trauma. Roberta works with all ages. She has been told that she has a gift for working with children, adolescents and parents. Roberta sees therapy as a whole person approach with a focus on each client's gifts, strengths and purpose. She is also a professional artist with experience in creative arts therapies as well as play therapy. Life can be difficult, even traumatic at times, but there is hope, help and encouragement for those who seek it, so a person does not have to feel they are in it alone. Roberta supports her clients in working through trauma and difficulties, helping them identify and build upon their strengths along the path to reaching their own personal treatment goals.
