Hello, my name is Robertha Moore. I began working with children in 2006 after discovering a passion for helping others and making a positive difference in the lives of children and families. This passion led me to begin working with the Office of Behavioral Health, where I gained valuable experience in the behavioral health field and developed a desire to further my education and professional growth. I graduated with a Master’s degree in School Counseling in May 2011 and have continued working in the behavioral health field since January 2013. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in outpatient mental health settings across the state of Louisiana, allowing me to gain a broad range of knowledge and experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. In July 2023, I furthered my professional development by obtaining my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential. I am passionate about helping individuals recognize their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, overcome challenges, and work toward meaningful change. I look forward to using my experience, education, and passion for mental health to support the individuals and families I have the opportunity to serve.
