You've probably spent a lot of time understanding yourself. You can name what's hard, trace it back, explain it to others. And still — something keeps showing up. Old patterns, familiar heaviness, a body that holds what the mind has already worked through a dozen times. That's trauma living in the nervous system. And that's exactly the work I do. I'm Robin Green, a trauma therapist based in Tucson with over 15 years of experience working with adults who feel deeply, think carefully, and often carry more than others realize. I specialize in complex trauma and PTSD, and I work with a lot of people who are highly sensitive, neurodivergent, or who grew up in environments that never had the right words for what they were experiencing. My approach is body-based, parts-informed, and rooted in nervous system science. I draw on ART, EMDR-informed methods, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and somatic approaches — not as a menu of techniques, but as ways of meeting you where the work actually lives. Sessions tend to go beneath the surface. Healing isn't just about understanding what happened — it's about your system learning, at a felt level, that something has changed. I offer in-person sessions in Tucson and online therapy throughout Arizona.
