Introduction

My ideal clients are individuals and couples who are struggling with life/relationship issues, those suffering with career burnout, compassion fatigue (healthcare workers, law enforcement, veterans/military, convicted felons), those with identity issues, trauma past or present and addictions (usually more than one). l was an ICU/trauma nurse for 20 years. This helped build a foundation for the necessity for continuity of care and taught me about the mind body connection. I feel that mental health is the primary issue with most physical health issues. I use my innate capacity for authentic empathy to enter into another's pain. I listen to their story and challenge them to facilitate lasting change and find balance. I can help clients to reclaim or define their real identity with the goal of finding meaning and purpose amidst suffering and struggle. I serve adults, couples, and teens dealing with a myriad of issues stemming from toxic relationships, trauma, loss/grief, and addiction who are ready to trudge the road to recovery. As a former trauma nurse I understand compassion fatigue/burnout felt by healthcare professionals. first responders and others in intensely stressful careers. If you feel alone, misunderstood, unheard, hurt, exhausted, unappreciated, and grasping for meaning, I am a good person to talk to about it. I have had my share of those things and really want to reach those that feel like there is no one who "gets" them. Suffering and pain is unavoidable, but misery is optional and you do not have to go through it alone.
