Introduction

My style is warm, intuitive, relational, and heart-centered. I hope to create a safe space for my clients to be as honest and authentic as possible. I have been working as psychotherapist since 2010. In 2011, I earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. I interned at two community counseling centers in San Francisco for over three years, doing therapy with adults and adolescents around a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, substance abuse, trauma, relational issues, and eating disorders. I also provided play therapy for at-risk children for two years at a Kindergarten through 8th grade charter school in San Francisco. In addition to my private practice, I worked for three years as Lead Therapist at The Lotus Collaborative, a recovery center specializing in eating disorders. My training has been focused in relational psychodynamic, humanistic-existential, and transpersonal approaches, and I use a blend of these modalities when sitting with clients. I love facilitating groups and believe strongly in the power of group therapy to elicit radical transformation and growth. I feel passionate about empowering people to love and accept themselves. By putting clients back in touch with their core feelings and true desires, I strive to help them live more fully and genuinely. I currently have a full-time private practice seeing clients virtually and in-person in Alameda and San Francisco. I work with individuals, couples, and groups. In addition to psychotherapy, I provide individual and group supervision to therapists in training at Pierce Street Integral Counseling Center, the Marina Counseling Center in San Francisco, and the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy. In my time outside of work, I love traveling, spending time with my dog and niblings, cooking and eating, and connecting with friends.
