Introduction

Ron Huxley is a trauma therapist with over 30 years of experience walking alongside people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck—often after years of “holding it together.” Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who have tried therapy, self-help, or faith practices before, yet still feel something isn’t fully resolved. My work focuses on helping you feel safer inside your own body, understand what shaped you, and move forward with greater steadiness and compassion. You might be a good fit if you: - Feel stuck in survival mode, even when life looks “fine” on the outside - Carry the effects of developmental trauma, chronic stress, or moral injury - Struggle with anxiety, emotional exhaustion, or shutdown - Feel disconnected from yourself, others, or your sense of meaning - Want therapy that respects both psychology and spirituality (without pressure) You don’t need to have the right words. We start where you are. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and paced for safety. Rather than pushing insight or quick fixes, we focus on: - Creating a felt sense of safety in your nervous system - Understanding how past experiences shaped present patterns - Reducing shame by reframing survival responses with compassion - Integrating emotional, physical, and (when desired) spiritual healing - Supporting real-life change that feels sustainable—not forced Therapy with me is not about fixing you. It’s about helping you come home to yourself.
