Let’s walk this road together awhile. I see therapy as a safe place to receive support in carrying the difficult burdens of life as well as in working toward personal goals. I enjoy partnering with my clients as they strive to make meaning of life’s challenges and chart a path forward. I have worked extensively with LGBTQIA+ clients, autistic folks, people managing burnout in high-pressure professions, and folks working through trauma, anxiety, and depression. My perspective is sex-positive, body-neutral, and affirming of poly and kinky relationships. I use a strengths-based, client-centered approach. You are the expert in your own life; I’m here to help you find patterns, take charge of your own narrative, and identify pathways to change. For many of us a big piece of that is also addressing mental health in the context of our environment, by recognizing the influence and power of systems of oppression. Before I became a therapist, I was an attorney, where I got some real life experience with burnout myself, along with an analytical point of view that informs my clinical work. I am also a queer clinician, which I’m open about because I think it’s important. I look forward to supporting you through your journey.
