Introduction

My name is Rosaline, and I am a licensed psychologist providing individual psychotherapy for adults (18+) in California. I speak English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese. My work is grounded in psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, relational, and multicultural approaches, and is neurodiversity-affirming. Throughout the therapy process, I pay close attention to my client’s relational patterns, the influence of family and culture, and what emerges between us during each session. My philosophy is to gently provide my clients with insight and empathize with emotional depth, as it is important to feel understood rather than just “treated.” Most of my clients come to me seeking insight into relationship patterns, perfectionism, identity, belonging, neurodivergence (ADHD/autistic traits), and living with chronic illness or disability. Some of the clients I really enjoy working with are high-achieving individuals navigating multiple roles, high expectations, and feeling “not enough.” My practice is a good fit if you are interested in insight-oriented psychotherapy that engages both your strengths and your pain, and if you’re curious about understanding—not only managing—your experiences and symptoms. If this description resonates with you, you’re welcome to reach out to schedule a brief phone consultation.
