My name is Rosanna Martinez, and I am the owner and founder of Meliora Healing. I’m glad you’re here and appreciate you taking the time to learn a little about me. Who am I? I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend, an artist, a therapist. I am fiercely passionate about those who I love, and a curious seeker of stories and journeys. I pride myself for being an independent woman who can also be vulnerable and receptive. I am a unique blend of my Latin culture with my years of academia. I am the sum of all of my lived experiences with all that is yet to come. My background I have spent many years working with individuals who carry meaningful life experiences, often including painful or unresolved moments that continue to affect their present lives. Much of my work has involved helping clients gently uncover the roots of emotional distress and understand how past experiences may still be shaping their thoughts, emotions, and nervous systems today. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts and earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy. Alongside a person-centered foundation, I integrate trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR therapy, to support deeper and more lasting healing. My approach I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and intentional. I meet clients where they are, while also offering structure and guidance to help move beyond patterns that feel stuck. EMDR allows us to process painful experiences in a way that goes beyond insight alone, supporting both emotional understanding and nervous system regulation. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s pace and readiness. Why Meliora Healing? Meliora means “better” or “toward improvement.” Meliora Healing was created for those seeking a warm, steady space to explore themselves more deeply and honestly. If you are ready to understand your inner world, process experiences that continue to weigh on you, and move forward with greater clarity and ease, this may be a place where meaningful work can begin.
