I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing mental health counseling in both inpatient hospital and community-based settings. I work with children, adolescents, and older adults who are experiencing mental health challenges, substance use concerns, the effects of domestic violence, abuse or neglect, and grief related to loss and death. I understand how overwhelming these experiences can be and strive to offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I have extensive experience working with families involved with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support safety, stability, and healing. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, meaning I recognize the impact of trauma while also helping clients identify their resilience, strengths, and existing supports. My goal is to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and feel more empowered in their daily lives. I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from the Florida International University. I am committed to culturally responsive care and meeting clients where they are in their healing journey.
