Hey there, I’m Russ. Before becoming a therapist, I spent 12 years working in high stakes consulting and Silicon Valley tech. I had a wide experience in the business world dealing with Fortune 100 executive clients and putting out constant fires… all while trying to balance career, marriage, and family. I know firsthand how demanding life can be and how easy it is to lose sight of connection in the midst of it all. Maintaining and deepening our most important relationships can lead to so much goodness. But as you know, good relationships don’t come easy. The pressures of managing career stress, difficult relationships, and your own internal conflicts takes its toll on our health and wellbeing. Relationships are tough. They’re complex. They’re messy. But I like guiding people through that mess. That’s my thing. I help people foster healing and growth in the midst of their challenging relationships. I’ve shifted my craft from business strategy to relationship strategy, applying the some of the same approaches used in high-stakes consulting to the complex patterns of modern marriage. I’ll custom tailor our sessions to your specific needs. You can have confidence that our work will be grounded in attachment theory, relational neuroscience, and family of origin legacy while taking into account your unique biology, psychology, and social system. I am directive, not passive, and I love collaborating with my clients to hit their goals. You can expect highly involved and honest interactions with me, where I’ll teach you frameworks, theories, tools, and most importantly help process emotions in a safe and productive way. Therapy is one of the few places where we can pause, reflect, and peel back the layers of what’s really going on. I love to hear clients grow to say about their relationships: “I am known, I am safe, I belong.” Those are good days for everyone in the room.
