Most of us come to therapy focused on what's wrong. That makes sense, but it's rarely the whole story. I use a solution-focused approach, which means we spend less time digging through the past and more time finding what's already working for you, even in small ways, and building on it. I work with adults navigating loneliness, life transitions, ADHD, shame, depression, and the anxiety that comes with a world changing faster than anyone can keep up with. Maybe your calendar is full but you still feel unseen. Maybe a career or role that used to feel solid has shifted under you. Maybe you have ADHD and you're tired of generic advice that doesn't fit. Sessions with me are practical and down to earth. We'll get clear on what you actually want, notice the moments when things are already a little better, and find a next step you can realistically take. Before becoming a counselor, I spent over two decades in the business world, and I have ADHD myself, so I know what it's like to rebuild and start fresh. I offer telehealth across Texas and in-person sessions in Denton County. Russell Ammons, M.A., LPC-Associate, supervised by Craig Black, M.S., LPC-S, LCDC, CCTP.
