Introduction

With over 20 years of experience as a licensed mental health counselor, I work with both adults and teens who want to strengthen connection, find balance, and move through life’s challenges with greater ease. In addition to offering the traditional CBT/DBT interventions, I integrate EMDR Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Deep Brain Reorienting, and Attachment-focused Trauma therapy—approaches that support healing, deepen self-understanding, and encourage healthier patterns in relationships and daily living. For more than 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving the Indianola community from my current location, building lasting connections and providing consistent, compassionate care. My style is professional yet down-to-earth, blending advanced training with genuine warmth. I’m a Certified EMDR therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Iowa and am a Nationally Certified Counselor. In addition, I offer Supervision for temporary Licensed clinicians and have extensive experience in providing therapy services to mental health clinicians as well. Growth happens with connection, and it’s an honor to walk alongside each individual as they create more space for resilience, self-compassion, and meaningful change.
