She received her Master’s degree in Social Work and Bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Sciences at Florida State University. Ruth has a plethora of experience working with children, adolescents and adults guiding them towards mental wellness. She has worked in a variety of settings providing therapy to clients to include: corrections, schools, clinics, and in the community. Ruth believes a key component in working through stress is self care; something of which she encourages all of her clients to practice. During her free time, Ruth enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, traveling, and engaging in relaxing activities.
