Introduction

As your therapist, I seek to honor your lived experiences and the intuitive knowledge of your internal system. I hope to be your partner in self-exploration and embodiment by identifying, challenging, and reshaping the cycles that no longer serve you. A poem by Mary Oliver notes, “Whoever you are, no matter how lonely, the world offers itself to your imagination.” You have the ability to get to know yourself fully and to create a life that you love by directly engaging with all of the different parts of yourself, especially those cloaked in shame. My therapeutic approach predominantly draws from the Internal Family Systems model, complemented by Somatic Experiencing techniques and Brainspotting techniques in order to release and heal traumatic wounds. Recognizing that you are the authority on your own experiences, I prioritize your personal preferences and pace. I tailor my methods to align with your preferences. If you've had ambivalence around past therapy, I invite you to explore the possibilities of IFS, Brainspotting, and Somatic Experiencing. I appreciate the diversity of working with all different types of people and I am identity-affirming in my work. Let's embark on this trailhead together.
