Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and the anxiety and vulnerability that comes when asking for help is real. By considering counseling, you’ve already demonstrated strength and a desire for change. Seeking therapy requires a commitment of time and resources, and is a step toward improving your well-being and relationships. You are making the choice to improve your quality of life, and I honor that dedication. I’m here to support, guide, and create safety for you on your healing journey. I understand that you may not have clear goals yet, and that’s okay. It’s normal to come to therapy feeling uncertain about the path ahead. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths and identify what’s working in your life. My approach is non-judgmental and focused on understanding you as an individual, exactly where you are right now. I have had my own journey with depression, ADHD, difficult relationships and hard life experiences. I know how hopeless it can feel. I also know it gets better and there is hope. I am drawn to understand people and relationships. I am fascinated by their depth and complexity. After raising four children, I look forward to bringing my experience, education and compassion into this second career as a counselor. I’m here to help you navigate your unique journey, offering support as you discover what truly works for you.
