Introduction

Hello, and welcome. My name is Ruth Oluwole, and I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for adults. My journey into psychiatry began during my years as a registered nurse, where I cared for individuals facing complex medical and mental health challenges. Those experiences strengthened my passion for helping people improve not only their physical health but also their emotional well-being. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and my Master of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner concentration from the University of Texas at Arlington. My education and clinical training have equipped me to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health conditions using evidence-based practices. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief supportive psychotherapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, trauma-related disorders, stress, and other mental health concerns. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and patient-centered. I believe that effective treatment starts with listening. Every individual has a unique story, and I take the time to understand your concerns, explain your diagnosis and treatment options, and develop a personalized plan that aligns with your goals and values. Through secure telepsychiatry, I provide convenient and confidential mental health care to adults throughout Texas. Whether you are seeking treatment for the first time or returning to care, my goal is to help you gain clarity, improve daily functioning, and achieve lasting mental wellness. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward better mental health. Ruth Oluwole, MSN, PMHNP-BC. ( Starry Psychiatry & Wellness PLLC
