Introduction

I believe therapy works best when it's centered on you—your values, your pace, and your unique path forward. As a counselor, I specialize in helping children, teenagers, young adults, and adults work through anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach is grounded in evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and reality therapy, combined with family and marital therapy techniques when helpful. I'm trauma-informed, which means I understand how past experiences shape present struggles. I'm committed to helping you move from insight into meaningful action. Rather than dwelling solely on what's happened, I focus on practical steps you can take to reclaim your sense of safety and agency. I work with individuals across all ages and offer both telehealth and in-person sessions. I accept United Behavioral Health, Aetna, UPMC Health Plan, and UPMC for You. I'm currently accepting new clients and would welcome the opportunity to support you on your healing journey.
