I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who believes therapy should be a place where you can be honest about what you’re going through without feeling judged, misunderstood, or told what you should be doing. My approach is collaborative, practical, and strength-based. Rather than simply focusing on what’s wrong, I work with you to understand what’s keeping you stuck, identify what matters most to you, and develop realistic steps toward feeling better and moving forward. I have a passion for working with military members, veterans, first responders, and their families, as well as adults, teens, couples, blended families, and individuals navigating adoption, and foster care. I spent six years in the U.S. Air Force as a Security Forces Officer and Combat Arms Instructor. That experience gave me firsthand insight into the demands of high-stress professions, the impact of critical incidents, and the challenges that can come with asking for help in cultures where strength and resilience are highly valued. I understand that reaching out for therapy can sometimes feel like admitting you’re struggling—and I want to help change that perspective. I also have firsthand experience with adoption and foster care, which has given me a personal understanding of the complexities, emotions, and relationships that can come with those experiences.
