Introduction

"I can handle it" I told myself. "This isn't that bad." I tried to power through, all while facing self-doubt, perfectionism, procrastination, my inner critic; "Why did I do that?" "What will they think?" "Please don't #@*! this up." Talk about feeling overwhelmed... I didn’t walk this path alone, and you don’t have to either. Anxiety and Depression are formidable opponents. Perhaps you’ve been having those battles for a long time; perhaps some recent stress (e.g. divorce, career stress, relationship problems, parenting) has woken these feelings up. I am here to help. Of course, I know that your challenges are unique, but I do know what it's like to struggle. I believe the best therapy involves a Balance. Real, proven, evidence-based methods, coupled with a human touch. I will talk to you like a person. I will meet you without judgment. I will support you in growing your awareness, help you build coping skills, and work with you to walk the important pathways in your life in the ways you want to. If you feel that I could be a good match for your needs, or if you just have questions, I would be happy to schedule a free consultation with you. I have never heard a client say they regretted starting therapy, but I have heard many say “I wish I did this sooner.”
