Rylee provides warm, trauma-informed therapy for children ages 8+, teens, and adults, with particular interests in trauma, perinatal and postpartum mental health, women’s mental health, and emotional regulation. She offers 100% virtual therapy throughout Colorado, creating an accessible space for clients to receive support from wherever they feel most comfortable. Rylee integrates EMDR, somatic and nervous-system-based approaches, play therapy, expressive interventions, and trauma-informed care based on each client’s individual needs. She recognizes that healing doesn’t always happen through talking alone and helps clients explore the connection between their experiences, emotions, relationships, and nervous system. Rylee has a particular passion for supporting women during pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and other significant life transitions. Her work may include birth or reproductive trauma, anxiety, depression, identity changes, overwhelm, relationship changes, and the emotional adjustment that can accompany becoming or being a mother. For younger clients, Rylee offers virtual play therapy for children ages 8 and older through Illuminate’s Virtual Playroom. This allows children and teens to use creativity, play, expression, and developmentally appropriate approaches to communicate and process experiences beyond traditional conversation. Rylee earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. Her approach is compassionate, creative, and individualized, with the goal of helping clients better understand themselves, feel safer within their emotions and bodies, and develop meaningful tools for healing and growth.
