Do you feel weighed down by guilt over things you couldn’t have controlled in the first place? Maybe grief has left you feeling stuck, or anxiety about your health, relationships, or the future has started to take over. Maybe you’re struggling with boundaries, body image, or a lingering lack of confidence, or you’re trying to navigate a big adjustment and don’t know where to start. Whatever it is, you don’t have to carry it without support — your mental health deserves to be in a place where you can actually thrive, not just get by. I work with my clients as a team — my goal is to help you notice what’s actually within your control versus what isn’t, so you can let go of the guilt that isn’t yours to carry. Using a strengths-based approach, I draw on CBT, DBT, Brainspotting, first responder counseling, and psychoeducation to help adolescents and adults work through grief, PTSD, depression, anxiety, interpersonal challenges, and family dynamics, among other things. For those who wish to incorporate their faith into the process, I also offer Christian- informed counseling for clients seeking a therapist who understands a biblical worldview. Through this work, my clients learn new coping tools to protect their peace, dig deeper into who they really are, and step into a more enlightened, happier version of themselves.
