My name is Sabrina and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a Nationally Certified Counselor in the state of North Carolina. I consider it a great privilege to sit across from clients and to walk alongside them as they make changes and gain insight into themselves and their lives. My approach to therapy is relational and person-centered understanding that we all have things we have been through and are walking through that impacts who we have become, who we are, and where we are going. I intentionally create space to foster connection, growth, and empowerment utilizing multiple techniques within many counseling theories including (but not limited to) DBT, Gottman, Solution Focused, CBT, and ACT. I work with individuals 21 years of age and older. I enjoy working with couples whether it be helping them navigate through infidelity, disconnection from years together, or the rocky start some couples’ experience. I also work with clients individually with numerous life challenges and mental health struggles. I specifically find joy in working with individuals struggling with depression, self-concept, or with challenges regarding relationships. I also love working with women struggling with postpartum and with helping them find themselves within the role of motherhood. Therapy provides the opportunity for us to take time out of our busy lives and sit with what we are feeling, experiencing, and silently battling – it’s an investment in ourselves and we’re worth that investment.
