I’ve always known I wanted to help others. Growing up, I watched family members navigate major life transitions and adapt to new limitations due to health conditions. Seeing how important it was for them to have a secure, consistent, and compassionate space to be vulnerable inspired me to create that same sense of safety and support for others. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Community Health and a Minor in Gerontology from California State University, Fresno in 2019. Continuing my passion for understanding people and promoting well-being, I went on to complete my Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Fresno State in 2022. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Before becoming a clinician, I supported clients in the Welfare-to-Work program, helping them build rehabilitation skills and providing case management services. During my clinical training, I gained experience facilitating Intensive Outpatient Programs, offering vocational rehabilitation to individuals with disabilities seeking employment, and providing therapy to clients of all ages—from as young as five to older adults. I’m deeply committed to helping people navigate their mental health challenges and find their own path toward personal growth and healing. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to express their thoughts and emotions freely. Recognizing that each person’s journey is unique, I tailor my therapeutic approach to fit each individual’s specific needs and goals. My integrative style combines evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These approaches help clients gain insight into their thoughts and behaviors, reframe unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier coping strategies. I also incorporate a humanistic approach, encouraging clients to explore their authentic selves and embrace their potential for growth and self-acceptance. When I’m not wearing my clinician hat, I love staying active and creative. You might find me traveling to visit family and friends, playing golf or hiking, practicing yoga, exploring photography, or cheering on my favorite sports teams.
