With 15 years of experience in mental health, I have provided care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups across diverse backgrounds. My areas of expertise include dual disorders, veterans, LGBTQIA+ clients, teens, and older adults. My approach is flexible and tailored to each client’s unique needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. I work collaboratively with clients to build on their strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, and navigate life’s challenges. As a Black, Afro-Latinx, lesbian/queer therapist and U.S. Army veteran, I value culturally responsive care and strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and understood. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish, making support accessible to individuals from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Beyond my clinical work, I’m passionate about community outreach, mental health advocacy, and reducing stigma through education and collaboration. My goal is to empower clients to build resilience, feel heard and valued, and work toward meaningful personal growth.
