Sadie is currently simultaneously earning her Bachelors and Master’s degree in Christian, Marriage, Family and Individual Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Sadie has completed her bachelor’s level course work and is currently completing her Master’s level course work. Sadie is passionate about collaborating with individuals as they navigate the throws of life. She strongly believes in holistic care that incorporates care for mind, body, and soul. She welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds with empathy, genuine care, and a passion for her clients to find hope and healing in their journey through therapy. Sadie seeks to create a safe, empathetic, and welcoming space that allows clients to feel fully comfortable to grow, heal, and process their struggles. Sadie draws from therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness; however, she strives to collaborate with each client to find an approach that is most helpful and beneficial for them to achieve their goals and to improve their struggles, life, and ultimate well-being. She ultimately desires for all clients to feel seen, heard, and understood which guides her tailored approach to each client in therapy. Sadie is also willing to integrate faith into the counseling process upon request. Sadie has several years of experience leading grief support groups and working with children and teens. She has a passion for seeing clients gain hope and healing, so they are better equipped to enjoy life, embrace healing, and find hope. She understands from experience the difficulties that life can bring and seeks to holistically care for each client based on their needs and desires for therapy. Sadie’s goal in the counseling process is to affirm clients in their healing process, validate their emotions, and empathize with their struggles while helping them gain the confidence to navigate life’s struggles. ` Sadie’s areas of interest include, but are not limited to, anxiety, grief, depression, emotional dysregulation, relationship struggles, premarital counseling, life transitions and struggles, and family relationships. When Sadie is not in the office or at school, you may find her on the beach, on a boat, spending time with friends and family, or playing golf.
