Hi, I’m Sage Catton, a counseling student intern earning my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Oregon State University–Cascades. I practice under the supervision of Chris Madigan. My background in community-based nonprofit work informs how I understand wellbeing, including the ways our communities, culture, and social systems shape our lives. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, chronic illness, stress, and questions about who they are. I’m especially drawn to supporting people who want to better understand their inner experiences and find more balance. I bring warmth, curiosity, authenticity, and moments of humor to counseling. My approach is person-centered, which means your experiences and goals guide our work. I also incorporate mindfulness and awareness of bodily sensations to help you feel more grounded and connected to yourself. I want therapy to be a place where you can bring your whole self and explore your identity, relationships, and feelings at your own pace. Together, we can work toward deeper self-understanding, recognize the strengths you already carry, and build self-compassion as you navigate life’s challenges.
