Introduction

Many of us carry stories or patterns that once helped us cope with pain or pressure but now get in the way of living fully. You may be facing grief, whether through loss, trauma, or shifting life circumstances, or longing for clarity, stability, and more flexible ways of being that align with who you are and who you want to be. I offer compassionate, evidence-based support to adolescents, adults, and seniors, with particular expertise in anticipatory and unexpected loss, addiction, and compulsive behaviors, alongside my therapy Husky, Gloria. My approach is steady and tailored to each client, grounded in systems thinking and a strengths-based lens, attending to inner and outer worlds. I weave in narrative, schema, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, with training in EMDR and the Flash Technique, and a love for integrating Internal Family Systems-informed approaches into EMDR. Therapy with me is collaborative and direct. I bring warmth, curiosity, and often humor alongside thoughtful challenge. I am not a blank slate, and I don't pretend to be, and I'll help you build effective coping skills, uncover strengths, and reconnect with the values that make change sustainable I became a therapist because I experienced how profoundly healing it can be to be met with trust, safety, and presence in your hardest moments. I’m driven by deep gratitude for the help I received and by the honor of now being invited into others’ inner worlds as they reflect, grow, and find steadier ground.
