Sam is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working in outpatient, inpatient, and residential levels of mental health care. He is an Emerging Leader with the Ohio Counseling Association's Association for Specialists in Group Work. Sam received extensive training and consultation from leaders in the field in areas such as dual diagnosis, group therapy, and family systems. Working with Sam, you can expect experiential practice of therapeutic skills, plenty of metaphors and stories to help make sense of your circumstances, unique and creative engagement with your thoughts and emotions, and the exploration of various systems that are at play in your life. Sam works with clients struggling with grief, anxiety, burnout, difficult family dynamics, and life transitions, as well as those caregiving for loved ones with mental or physical illness. Outside of the office, Sam loves to brew coffee, try new recipes, read short stories, write poetry, hike, dream about big ideas, and be anywhere with his family.
