Introduction

Sam is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who works with people navigating grief, anxiety, burnout, difficult family or religious dynamics, and life transitions, including those caring for a loved one with mental or physical conditions. In session, Sam uses metaphor and story to help things click, gets curious with your thoughts and emotions instead of just cataloging them, and pays attention to the bigger picture that shapes what you're carrying. You can also expect to practice skills together to figure out what works for you. He has worked across outpatient, inpatient, and residential care, with advanced training in dual diagnosis, group therapy, and family systems, and served as an Emerging Leader with the Ohio Counseling Association's Association for Specialists in Group Work. Outside the office, Sam is brewing coffee, trying new recipes, reading short stories, writing poetry, hiking, dreaming up big ideas, and being anywhere his family is. If any of this sounds like the kind of work you're looking for, reach out for a free consult today.
