Introduction

I am Dr. Sam Lookatch, a licensed clinical psychologist with board certification in addiction psychology currently accepting patients in NY, NJ, IL and all PsyPact states. I provide virtual outpatient therapy, specializing in the treatment of addictive behaviors (i.e. substance use, gambling), trauma, anxiety and mood disorders. Additionally, I work with couples and families related to addiction issues and am trained in evidence-based couple/family treatments including Integrated Behavioral Couple Therapy and Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT). I am passionate about helping people change their relationship with substances, process traumatic events/past experiences, and address anxiety (social or generalized) so ultimately, they can lead fulfilling, engaged lives. Carrying mental health issues alone is exhausting. Engaging in evidence-based therapy can help alleviate the burden and enable you to more confidently take your next steps. Visit my website to learn more about me or reach out for a free, 15-minute consultation call.
