Introduction

Starting therapy can feel intimidating. Taking those first steps requires tremendous bravery and courage, and that should not go unrecognized. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood and comfortable sharing your story. I work with adolescents ages 12 and older, adults, and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, codependency, relationship challenges, and difficult life transitions. I also help professionals navigate workplace stress, burnout, performance pressure, and the challenge of balancing personal and professional responsibilities. In our work together, we will acknowledge and build upon your existing strengths while exploring the experiences and patterns contributing to emotional pain or distress. Through greater understanding and corrective emotional experiences, you can begin releasing patterns that no longer serve you and creating healthier, more fulfilling ways of living and connecting with others. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been practicing since 2008. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma and my master’s degree in community counseling from the University of Oklahoma. My background includes extensive experience in community mental health, and I am also an Oklahoma board-approved supervisor for Licensed Professional Counselor candidates. I offer in-person counseling, which is my preferred format, as well as telehealth appointments for clients throughout Oklahoma. My practice serves clients from Edmond, Oklahoma City, Yukon, Piedmont, Moore, Norman, Mustang, Jones, Choctaw, Guthrie, Cashion and surrounding communities. I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, HealthChoice and Healthcare Highways insurance plans. Private-pay appointments are also available. Insurance coverage and benefits vary, so clients are encouraged to confirm their specific mental health benefits before beginning services. If you are considering therapy, complete the inquiry form on my website. I will reach out to schedule an initial consultation, answer your questions and help determine whether my practice is the right fit for your needs.
