Introduction

It can be overwhelming to handle everything on your own. This can lead to feeling things such as anxiousness, frustration, or depression. It may not always be easy to seek help, and it's normal to feel uncomfortable with that. I strive to create a welcoming space where my clients and I can work together to create a plan to overcome these obstacles. I believe therapy is a collaborative environment, while the therapist's role is to serve as a guide. Being open to exploring the challenges you are facing can help me to guide you to finding what are the root causes, as well as provide you with tools to help you manage difficulties. I approach therapy with cultural humility & being trauma-informed. I have experience using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, person-centered therapy, and play therapy. I have a background in working with children and adults in areas of anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and personal growth. Mental health challenges can impact other parts of our lives and sometimes make us feel like we are not ourselves. Seeking help is something to be seen as empowering. We aren't meant to handle everything on our own, and it's okay not to. Together we can work through the sources of these issues and find ways to manage the challenges they may cause.
