Introduction

Welcome! I truly believe each person is capable of growth, healing and developing the skills they need to live their best possible life, and I'm honored to be a part of the process in discovering them. I love to work with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents and their parents in both learning specific skills in therapy they can apply to their everyday life and recognizing that growth never stops- we all need help and care to face our vulnerabilities and take the risk of changing. This stuff is hard, but you definitely don't have to do it alone. I've been in clinical practice in a variety of settings for over 12 years before starting my solo practice, including as a clinical director for a group practice focused on evidence-based therapies, especially Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention, and I have special training in treating OCD and body-focused repetitive behaviors like skin picking or hair pulling, and do a lot of work treating anxiety disorders, panic, and social anxiety. I also have a strong interest in working with individuals impacted by chronic illnesses, as well as parenting skills, trauma (through EMDR or TFCBT), mood disorders and in involving family support to improve functioning. Since therapy is all about fit, and I fully support determining if I am the right therapist for you or your child's needs, and am happy to provide a 15 minute consult to determine this, but please feel free to request an appointment to get started if you are ready. Thanks for taking this step, and considering me to support you in this process.
