I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity-related stress, and professional burnout. I provide LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally responsive care and often support individuals who are navigating the complex intersection of identity, cultural expectations, systemic stress, and personal well-being. In addition to psychotherapy, I integrate mind-body–informed health and wellness coaching and offer healthcare self-advocacy strategies designed to promote sustainable well-being and improved health outcomes. My background growing up within a Caribbean cultural context also informs my understanding of family dynamics, resilience, and the unique pressures many people face when balancing personal identity with cultural expectations. Psychotherapy changed my life and inspired me to become both an advocate and a therapist. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University. With nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare, I bring a unique understanding of psychopharmacology, nervous system stress, and the realities of working within demanding healthcare systems. My approach is strength-based, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe that you are the greatest expert on your own life, and my role is to help you access your inner wisdom and develop practical strategies for healing and growth. In our first session, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and work together to identify the most supportive path forward.
