Introduction

If you are feeling alone, stuck, or overwhelmed navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and early stages of motherhood and parenting, you're in the right place and you are not alone. 1 in 5 women experience mental health concerns during pregnancy and postpartum. My goal is to help women navigating mental health challenges during their reproductive years by offering a safe, supportive, and empowering space to identify and navigate their needs. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), but is person centered and tailored to your needs. I obtained my Masters in Clinical Social Work (MSW) in 2014 from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. I have had the honor and privilege of supporting individuals and families through many of life's challenges. My experience in mental health treatment has included inpatient and outpatient care. In recent years I have developed a passion for supporting women through their reproductive years and obtained advanced training and certification for Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) in 2020. If you are curious about how I can support your mental health during you pregnancy and motherhood journey, please reach out today to schedule a free consultation. My practice is out-of-network, which allows me to provide specialized, flexible, and fully private care. While I do not bill insurance directly, many clients find they are eligible for partial reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. I am happy to provide monthly superbills to assist you in this process. I also maintain a limited number of sliding scale slots for those with financial need; please contact me to discuss whether your situation qualifies. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C in Maryland and LCSW in Virginia). My telehealth practice is strictly limited to providing clinical services to residents physically located within the states of Maryland and Virginia at the time of the appointment.
