Pursuing counseling can feel uncomfortable. It can mean acknowledging that something in life is not working the way you hoped, that you are carrying more than you can manage alone, or that you are ready for something to change. Whatever brings you here, I believe that community and connection play an important role not only in helping us through difficult times, but in life as a whole. My goal is to provide an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself, sharing openly, and exploring both the struggles and strengths that make you who you are. Through greater self awareness and intentional reflection, we can work toward creating a life that feels more fulfilling, connected, and authentic. My path to becoming a counselor was shaped by my own experiences. After being diagnosed with anxiety and depression at a young age and living through several traumatic events, I had a therapist who provided support during a time when I needed it most. Having someone who listened, understood, and genuinely cared left a lasting impact on me and inspired my decision to enter this field. I believe counseling works best as a collaborative process. Together, we can explore the challenges that brought you to therapy, gain a deeper understanding of the patterns that may be affecting your life, and identify practical ways to move toward the future you want for yourself. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, or questions about your identity and direction, I believe growth begins with understanding yourself more fully. I am originally from New Jersey but have happily called Colorado home for the last decade. When I am not working, I enjoy hiking, dirt biking, traveling, reading, spending time with family, and hanging out with my horse, Arrow. Being outdoors and staying connected to the people and activities I love helps keep me grounded and reminds me of the importance of balance in everyday life. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I look forward to learning more about you and helping you build the life you want to live.
