Anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles often have deeper roots than we realize. Hi, I’m Samm. I work with individuals and couples, including parents who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected. Some are unsure about starting medication, while others want therapy that addresses root causes, not just symptoms. My approach is trauma-focused, emphasizing EMDR-informed work to help process experiences shaping emotional and relationship patterns, while integrating mindfulness, narrative therapy, and expressive arts. Together, we’ll take meaningful steps toward feeling grounded, regulated, and fully connected in your life. I work with individuals and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges, including parents, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent clients. Gentle, honest, and grounded, I use EMDR, Mindfulness, Trauma-Informed Parenting, and CBT, and hold an MFT from Antioch, bringing creativity and depth from a background in poetry. When we first meet, I want to understand what brings you here. I move at your pace and offer support between sessions. As a former English Professor and life-long Buddhist-practitioner, our sessions will be deep as well as playful, humorous, and creative. I believe everyone can work through emotional turmoil and move towards a life that feels correct.
