Therapy is a difficult, maybe even awkward relationship to seek out. The reality of reaching out to a therapist begins with the realization that you don’t feel okay, that something is off. So before you know anything about me or my approach, it’s important to me that you see me as a human. My hope is that this disarms the intimidating process of vulnerability. I want our time together to feel casual, easygoing, and comfortable. My approach is rooted in this deep awe I have for relationships —the way they can wound us, shape us, and ultimately help us grow. They are the most formative experiences we have and will always have.
